Who am I?

I'm frontend developer with a passion for accessibility, UI/UX and implementing pretty design I live in Vesturbærinn with my fiance and two awesome stepkids


I'm taking online courses and aiming to take the Web Accessibility Specialist exam.

I want to create websites that not only 85% of end user can use, navigate and able to use... I want to create websites that 100% of end users will enjoy and love!

What have I worked on?

My 2 years at Advania I worked on webpages for :

Borgun, Síminn,N1 and Þjóðskrá

Past two years at Kolibri I have been a part of a team that developed the new Íslandsbanki website, and now I'm working on online solution for Valitor.


I'm also a photographer and love taking photos of everyday life.

I'm a foodie and I'm trying to master the making of the perfect coffee cup

I religously watch Bachelor , Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise

  • 2017 - Kolibri - Frontend developerI've been working mostly with React and headless CMS, Prismic. Now I'm in a new team for Valitor where I created the frontend stack. That stack contains React, Typescript, Next, Styled components, Jest + Enzyme and Cypress testing.
  • 2015 - 2017 Advania - Software SpecialistI worked as a web developer, both in the front and backend. I was on multiple project as a contractor from Advania and learned to adapt quickly and work with various teams.
  • 2005-2015 Bæjarins Beztu Pylsur - Reception and general supervisionThis was a great work with school. Here I learned to work well under pressure, customer service under various circumstances and to take full responsibility for my work and the workplace.
  • 2010-2012 Art Photos ehf - CEO / Partner / LjósmyndariTook care of general operation of the photo gallery and studio.
  • 1993-2003 - Garbage masterI change garbage cans everyday at Ljósheimar 4, 104 Reykjavík. My monthly salary started at 2.500 kr, but I did such a good job that I got 100% raise only after one year at the job.
