Viking quest,
journey
through Iceland

The protagonist Viking has been kicked out of Valhalla and is stranded in medieval Iceland. To find his way back home, he must collect runes to cast a spell that will get him home.

To start with, the Viking meets little resistance other than the local wildlife, sheep, polar bear and puffin.
The closer he gets to the end of his mission more magical creatures start to get in the way as well – e.g. trolls and dragons, and nature itself gets more harsh with volcanoes and lava instead of regular rivers and mountains.
